Did you know that there is an everlasting Source within all of us? It is the only place from which lasting love, peace, harmony and joy can emerge. When we unite in prayer, we become expressions of God flowing forth into the world.

As the foundation of Unity's history, prayer is regarded as a powerful force for positive change. Unity members are offered the opportunity to place a specific prayer request in the Prayer Box during each Sunday Service. This request will be prayed over by members of the Prayer Team for 30 days and then sent on to Silent Unity at Unity Village for an additional 30 days of prayer support.

You don't have to be a member of Unity to make a prayer request. Simply call the church at (309) 762-1066 or email your prayer request to unityqc@aol.com. You are also invited to participate in the following prayer-related activities:

Prayer Circle

We invite you to join our Prayer Team for the Prayer Circle, which meets on the first Tuesday of every month from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. in the Family Cafe. The team begins each meeting with a simple supper, followed by a short meditation and the Prayer Circle. Everyone is welcome to join the team for the evening. Niners

Wherever they happen to be at 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. every day, Unity Prayer Team members pray for the well-being of the church, its members and staff, and the worldwide Unity movement. The current list of needs is located in the monthly newsletter.

Nooners

At noon every day, the Unity Prayer Team prays for World Peace, using the Peace Prayer. The prayer is located on the back of the Sunday Bulletin. You may also obtain a copy by contacting any Prayer Team member.
