Power of Prayer

As the foundation of Unity's history and creation, prayer is regarded as a powerful force of our own creation. Prayer is not an activity to be solely used to "get me out of a jam"; prayer is a force and activity that can keep the "jams" from ever occurring.

Unity members are offered the opportunity to place a specific prayer request in the Prayer Box during each Sunday Service. This request will be prayed over by the local church and then sent on to Silent Unity.

The Worldwide Unity Headquarters organization has a prayer ministry called Silent Unity. Silent Unity maintains a prayer group that always has someone in prayer for your requests ... 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. You can reach their 24 hour prayer line at 816-969-2069 or 800-669-0282. In addition, our local church has setup a Prayer Team comprised of leaders and members from our congregation. You may feel free to contact any of them from the list below to share a need or situation that you would like additional prayer assistance with.
