Rev. Dean Van Wie has been a student of Unity since 1974. From 1985 to 1999, Rev. Dean worked as a civil engineer for the City of Urbana, Illinois. After retiring from his career as a civil engineer, Rev. Dean became the spiritual leader of Unity Quad Cities in October 1999. He enrolled in Unity's Field Licensing Program in 2003 and became a licensed minister the following year. In March 2007, Rev. Dean became an ordained Unity Minister. "I seek to be the very best expression of God that I can be," says Rev. Dean, "and also help others who are seeking this goal to experience it."
