Dear Friends!

Wishing you a Magnificent May!!

May is the month of summer flowers, of longer days, of bright sunshine and more awakening to the Goodness of God in our everyday activities! We honor our mothers and see good appearing in every part of our lives. 

In Unity, we work with our power of POWER during May as well. The power of POWER is our “ability to master, have dominion and control” over our OWN thoughts, feelings, beliefs and attitudes.  We are told that POWER is a gift, “to be used under God direction only. Wrong use of the God-given power potential will bring disappointing or even disastrous results.” It is NOT an end to itself; rather, “it is simply a means that enables us to attain the end result of bringing forth God-ideas on earth.” We teach that God-POWER is for taking charge of our OWN thoughts, feelings, beliefs and attitudes and is NOT given to us to take control over others.  As we focus on developing the magnificent POWER that is already within us, so do we find that God expresses through us in every activity and we find the answers that we are seeking in every area of our lives. 

A great affirmation to use to help us grow our Power of POWER might be:

 THROUGH THE POWER OF POWER WITHIN ME,
I AM TAKING CHARGE OF MY LIFE
AND EVERYTHING IS INDEED
GETTING BETTER AND BETTER.

So, Dear friends, take time daily during this wonderful month to develop your power OF POWER. This will make your life better and our world better. 

On Mother’s Day, May 13, we will honor all females who are present and those who are not present as well. You will have a chance to say something special about any woman in your life! 

On Memorial Day weekend, we will have special Walks on our Labyrinth both on Sunday and on Monday for people to honor folks in their lives who have passed on.
